With anything in life, its important to have standards. Hopefully the Ts & Cs of the DYT platform give this clarity, but to make it crystal clear, here is what DYT expect of users (contractors and businesses) on the platform.
|Don’t be a jerk
|Provide all necessary information to either party to ensure the job can be completed successfully
|Provide honest reviews
|Be open and honest with your experience and knowledge – do not sign up for a job that you cannot complete to the highest standard
||Be organised e.g. ensure the set of keys work, and that any specific tech the contractor needs for the job is supplied by you or clearly defined if they need to provide their own
|Like with any job, be reliable and punctual
||Provide clear directions to your contractor
How do I price my work?
How can I get more work?
If I’m attending a property, where do I get keys or reports from?
If I’m meeting a client (tenant, owner, buyer, seller etc) for any reason, where do I say I work?
When do I get paid?
What do I do if the business approaches me directly to work for them, either as a freelancer or employee?
I had a terrible experience doing a job for a business and I don’t want to work with them again, what do I do?
Where should I do my CPD?
If I haven’t used a particular platform or program before, where should I go to get upskilled?
I am already employed with an agency, am I allowed to join the platform?
I need a job completed that is not listed on DYT, what do I do?
When do I pay the contractor?
Can I approach a contractor to work directly for me, either as a freelancer or employee?
I had a terrible experience with a contractor, what do I do?
