Design Your Tribe Terms & Conditions:
Contractors:
A person or company offering a service.
Only registered users may offer their services on Design Your Tribe.
Contractors must fulfill their specified service and may not cancel on a regular basis or without cause. Cancelling services will affect the Contractors reputation and status. If a Contractors score drops below 3 stars, Design Your Tribe reserve the right to cancel or suspend the Contractors membership.
Contractors gain or lose reputation stars based on aggregate reviews on their performance in delivering their services to Businesses. Businesses cannot review a Contractor without having engaged the Contractor to provide a service. Businesses are not obliged to provide reviews. Once a review has been given this cannot be removed by Design Your Tribe.
Contractors may not offer or accept payments using any method other than placing an order through Design Your Tribe.
Contractors must provide correct and true information to Design Your Tribe. All contractors agree that they will not through any act or omission mislead or deceive others.
The Contractor agrees that Design Your Tribe may reproduce, distribute, transmit and publicly display any materials and other information submitted.
Your privacy is important to us. You can read our Privacy Policy on this site. The Privacy Policy is a part of these Terms of Service and incorporated herein by reference.
Contractors must comply with Design Your Tribe standards, which are a set of rules and guidelines as set out below applicable to the Design Your Tribe marketplace that may be updated from time to time. Failure to comply with our guidelines may result in your membership being suspended or cancelled. Any updates to these standards will be updated below.
When a Contractor is booked, the funds will be retained in trust until the services being provided is acknowledged as completed by the Business.
Contractors are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any GST otherwise, which may apply to them.
On confirmation by the Business that the Contractor services have been satisfactorily delivered, Design Your Tribe will release all funds to your nominated bank account less the 10% commission fee. The commission fee may change from time to time however we will provide you with advance notice to your nominated email address.
Contractors are responsible for obtaining a general liability insurance policy with sufficient coverage to cover all risks associated with performing their services.
Design Your Tribe is not responsible for any unauthorised access to the Contractors stored information.
Design Your Tribe accepts no responsibility for the conduct of the Business engaging the Contractor to deliver the services nor for any change in scope of the services to be provided. If there is a change in the scope of work, this must be reflected in the charges payable by the Business to the Contractor. This must be via the Design Your Tribe payment platform.
Businesses:
A person or company engaging a Contractor to complete a required service.
All payments by the Business when booking the Contractor services will be held in trust until the services being provided by the Contractor have been completed. Any change in scope of the service to be performed by the Contractor must be reflected in the charges payable by the Business to the Contractor through the Design Your Tribe payment platform.
Businesses have two days to complete the service completion review on Design Your Tribe when the Contractor advises the Services have been delivered. If no response is provided within the response period, the service will be considered completed without objection and the payment will be released to the Contractor less any fees as agreed with the Contractor.

Businesses must not offer payments using any method other than placing an order through Design Your Tribe.
Businesses hereby appoint Design Your Tribe as an authorized payment collection agent solely for the purpose of accepting payments (via its Payment Services Provider, if applicable) from business, and remitting those payments to contractors.
Design Your Tribe partners with Payment Services Providers for purposes of collecting payments from Businesses, transferring such payments from Businesses to Contractor, and holding funds in connection. All payments services in connection with the withdrawal of funds on the Design Your Tribe marketplace are performed by Design Your Tribe Payment Services Providers.
By using any payment method and/or providing payment details for making purchases on Design Your Tribe, you represent and warrant that you are legally authorized to provide such information and you are legally authorized or have permission to make payments using the payment method(s). If you are an employee or agent of a company or person that owns the payment method, you are authorized by that company or person to use the payment method to make payments on Design Your Tribe.
Design Your Tribe takes no responsibility for the accurate and completeness or the Contractors information and as such provides no guarantees for the Contractors. Design Your Tribe recommends all businesses to do any necessary due diligence on Contractors and necessary registration/licensing if the service being performed requires such. Design Your Tribe will not accept any liability for incorrect information supplied by Contractors and makes no representation of the competence or skill level of the contractor.
The Platform
Design Your Tribe is a web service built on the Sharetribe platform. The general terms of Sharetribe below apply also to the use of Design Your Tribe
Sharetribe is a social media service that allows its users to change favors and items and communicate with each other. The Sharetribe service may only be used in accordance with these terms of use. The service provider reserves the right to change these terms of use if required. Valid terms of use can be found from Sharetribe’s website.
Rights of Content
The users themselves retain the right to all text, pictures and other content that they create in the service. The users allow others to utilize the content in accordance with the nature of the service and furthermore allow the service provider to file information and data and make changes that are necessary for the service or the study, however other rights are not transferred from the users, unless specifically otherwise agreed. The responsibility of the content lies with the user, who has produced it to the service. The service provider has the right to remove any material when it deems it necessary.
Disclaimer
No guarantees of the functioning of the Sharetribe service are given. The users are themselves responsible for their actions in the service and they should estimate the reliability of other users before dealing with them. The service provider can under no circumstances be liable for damage that is caused to the user. The user may not store any information or data in the service, and expect it to remain there.
The Removal of a User
Design Your Tribe has the right to remove any users from Sharetribe and terminate their right of use of the service without any specific reason and without being liable for compensation.
Applicable Jurisdiction
The jurisdiction that is applicable in this service and these terms of use is that of Finland, unless something else is required by binding law.

Retention time
